Queensland Oztag Corona-virus Update:
As restrictions begin to lift and the state looks to move to Stage 3 restrictions we are now in a position to share more definitive plans in terms of what this means for Oztag in Queensland.
From July 13, 2020 Queensland Oztag venues will look to recommence suspended competitions whilst following the state government restrictions.
Returning to play in a safe, hygienic, and controlled manner is paramount to Queensland Oztag. The safety and wellbeing of our participants is our number one priority. As such, our Return to Play strategy has been focused on ensuring we have the clear endorsement of State Government and public health officials at every phase of return.
The dedicated Return to Play Guidelines document will cover the implementation and management of Oztag venues as they return to play post the Covid19 pandemic.
We strongly recommend all participants review their responsibility and download the COVID-SAFE App, to ensure they are prepared for resumption of competition. We all have an important role to play in ensuring that not only Oztag returns, but Australia returns safely towards a normal way of life.
We would like the thank you for your patience and understanding as we look towards recommencing.
