Development officers will be conducting over 1400 clinics and visiting over 200 primary schools throughout the state this year to ensure the junior program continues to grow within each area Oztag is conducted.
Primary school students between the ages of 5-12 will get to see and try this great new game within their own classes at school. Basic skills are taught such as the Twist and Spin and also taught correct tagging technique.
The ability for ALL students to participate no matter what the skill level, speed or size is a huge plus when playing or teaching Oztag
In addition to clinics conducted Primary School Challenges are also conducted for years 5-7
High school students will play in various Charity days to support the Starlight Children’s Foundation and also High School Challenges. Many schools are now introducing Oztag into their yearly curriculum, taking advantage of the skills components within oztag such as Tagging techniques and Evasive skills such as the Twist and Spin that are specific to Oztag.
